Life Enrichment Coordinator

Join The Lutheran Home as a Life Enrichment Coordinator and make a meaningful difference every day. In this full-time role, you’ll plan and lead activities that bring joy, purpose, and connection to our residents—no prior experience is required, just a caring heart and positive attitude. This role involves working with residents in areas such as Memory Care, Hospice, Rehab-to-Home, and Long-Term Care, so comfort working in a healthcare setting is important. You’ll work mostly day shifts with occasional evenings and rotating weekends, all within a community guided by our values of service, excellence, dignity, fulfillment, grace, and stewardship. Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

Plan and lead engaging activities based on residents’ interests
Maintain activity calendars, supplies, and resources
Build trusting relationships with residents, families, and staff
Support residents’ participation, comfort, and care needs
Complete required documentation accurately and on time
Follow safety practices, dietary guidelines, and facility policies

Skills and Qualifications:

18 years of age or older
High school diploma or GED required
Eldercare or healthcare experience preferred, but not required
Compassionate, patient, and respectful
Creative, self-motivated, and able to work independently
Basic computer skills for documentation and assessments
