Housekeeper - Healthcare Community

The Lutheran Home is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to support a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents within our healthcare community. In this role, you will contribute directly to the comfort and well-being of those we serve, whether you are beginning your career or bringing prior experience. Your attention to detail and commitment to quality will help maintain a clean and comfortable living space while reflecting our core values or service, excellence, dignity, fulfillment, grace, and stewardship. Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
- Maintain cleanliness in residents’ rooms
- Clean bathrooms daily and restock toiletries
- Empty trash cans and dispose of waste in designated areas
- Sweep, mop, and vacuum as needed
- Clean common areas of the facility, including hallways, living rooms, and dining rooms
- Clean the shower room
- Pack and move personal items for room changes
- Clean and change out beds as needed
- Inspect areas for needed repairs or maintenance and report findings according to policy
- Follow proper procedures for the use of chemicals in the workplace and ensure they are secured when not in use

- Excellent customer service skills

- Minimum age of 18
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred
- Housekeeping or eldercare experience preferred
