Housekeeper

At The Lutheran Home, we are looking for a dedicated Housekeeper to join our health center, where we strive to create a warm and supportive environment where everyone feels at home. In this vital role, you will help maintain a clean and inviting space and make a meaningful impact in the lives of our residents. Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
- Maintaining cleanliness in the resident’s room.
- Cleaning bathrooms daily and restocking toiletries.
- Emptying trash cans and disposing of the waste in designated areas.
- Sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming as needed.
- Cleaning common areas of the facility including hallways, living rooms and dining rooms.
- Cleaning the shower room.
- Packing and moving personal items for room changes.
- Cleaning and changing out beds as needed.
- Inspecting areas for needed repairs or maintenance and reporting findings per policy.
- Following proper procedures in the use of chemicals in the workplace and ensuring they are secured when not in use.
In this Full-time position you will enjoy day shift hours, working primarily 6:45 am - 3:15 pm with rotating weekends, and take part in our many benefits including:

Skills and Qualifications:
- Excellent customer service skills
- Attention to detail
- Minimum age of 18
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred
