Certified Medication Technician (CMT) $3,000 Sign On Bonus

The Lutheran Home is accepting applications for our Certified Medication Technician (CMT) position.  We are seeking CMTs that considerate, compassionate and thoughtful with their record keeping. You will work alongside our other nursing services team members including RNs, LPNs and CNAs ensuring our residents safety as you administer medications.

Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
  • Administers prescribed medications to residents and maintain related medical records under supervision of a nurse.
  • Takes vital signs or observes patient to detect response to specified types of medications and prepares report or notifies designated personnel of unexpected reaction.
  • Assist residents with ADL care as needed.
  • Answer call lights and take appropriate action.
  • Completes documentation accurately, timely, and following facility policies and procedures.
  • Reviews resident’s care plans and performs care as outlined.
License/Certification: 
  • Current Missouri CMT certification
  • Current Missouri CNA certification
Job Type: Full-time

Expected hours: 36 – 48 per week.  Set 2-week schedule working 7 out of 14 calendar days and every other weekend off.  
  • Day shift: 6:45am - 7:15pm
  • Night shift: 6:45pm - 7:15am
