The Lutheran Home is seeking a dedicated and reliable Housekeeper to join our team. In this role you will maintain cleanliness and create a safe and welcoming environment for our residents and staff. The ideal candidate will have an eye for detail, good cleaning standards and enjoy working around older adults. Come join our team and see why our healthcare community feels like home.

Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

Maintain cleanliness in the resident’s room.
Clean bathrooms daily and restock toiletries.
Empty trash cans and dispose of the waste in designated areas.
Sweep, mop and vacuum as needed.
Clean common areas of the facility including hallways, living rooms and dining rooms.
Clean the shower room.
Packing and moving personal items for room changes.
Clean and change out beds as needed.
Inspect areas for needed repairs or maintenance and report findings per policy.
Follow proper procedures in the use of chemicals in the workplace and insure they are locked up when not in use.

In this position you will enjoy day shift hours, working primarily 6:45 am - 3:15 pm with rotating weekends, and take part in our many benefits including:
