The Lutheran Home is looking for a Part-time Maintenance Worker to join our team. In this role, you help to maintain our healthcare community and ensure the campus runs smoothly during evening hours. This is a great opportunity for someone who is dependable, hands-on, and enjoys supporting a safe, welcoming environment for residents and staff. Come help us achieve our values of service, excellence, dignity, fulfillment, grace and stewardship.

Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

Collecting trash throughout the campus and disposing of it in the designated areas
Driving throughout the campus and delivery durable medical equipment, including walkers, wheelchairs, and oxygen concentrators
Moving resident beds as needed
Cleaning dining rooms, including sweeping and mopping floors
Answering evening maintenance calls for service or repair
Communicating maintenance concerns that require next-day follow-up or immediate attention

Schedule:

Part-time position
Typically 2-3 evenings per week from 4:00 pm – 8:00 pm
Every weekend required, work 7:00 am - 3:30 pm

Requirements:

Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
Ability to sit, stand, walk, and squat as part of daily duties
Valid driver’s license required
