Housekeeper - Assisted Living

The Lutheran Home is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to help create a clean and welcoming home for our Assisted Living residents. In this role, you’ll help maintain a comfortable, inviting environment by ensuring resident rooms and shared spaces are clean and cared for. Your attention to detail and commitment to quality will make a meaningful difference each day. Guided by our core values of service, excellence, dignity, fulfillment, grace, and stewardship, you’ll help make a positive impact in the lives of others. Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

Maintain cleanliness in resident rooms
Clean bathroom daily and restock toiletries
Empty trash cans and dispose of the waste in designated areas
Sweep, mop, and vacuum as needed
Clean common areas of the facility including hallways, stairwells, the living room and dining room
Pack and move personal items for room changes
Clean and change out beds as needed
Inspect areas for needed repairs or maintenance and report findings per policy
Follow proper procedures in the use of chemicals in the workplace and ensure they are secured when not in use
Collaborate with team members to support residents and promote a positive living environment
