Physical Therapist (PRN - Weekend Shifts)

Join our team as a Licensed Physical Therapist at The Lutheran Home, a thriving healthcare and retirement community, where you’ll make a meaningful impact on residents’ lives while enjoying flexible weekend PRN shifts. You’ll work in a supportive, patient-centered environment guided by our values of service, excellence, dignity, fulfillment, grace, and stewardship. Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

Plan, prepare, and carry out individually designed physical therapy programs to maintain, improve, or restore physical function, alleviate pain, or prevent physical dysfunction
Perform and document initial exams, evaluating data to identify problems and determine diagnoses prior to intervention
Evaluate treatment effects and adjust treatments to achieve maximum benefit
Identify and document goals, anticipated progress, and re-evaluation plans in a timely manner
Review referrals and medical records to help determine required physical therapy treatment
Test and measure patient strength, motor function, sensory perception, functional capacity, or respiratory/circulatory efficiency and record data
Perform all responsibilities following safety and infection control procedures
Follow CMS, insurance, and AMA guidelines for skilled services, documentation, and billing
Adhere to the Physical Therapy Statutes established by the Missouri Board of Healing Arts

Shifts Available:

Flexible PRN weekend shifts

License/Certification required:

Licensed Physical Therapist in Missouri
Skilled nursing facility experience preferred
