Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

  • Plan, prepare, and carry out individually designed physical therapy programs to maintain, improve, or restore physical function, alleviate pain, or prevent physical dysfunction
  • Perform and document initial exams, evaluating data to identify problems and determine diagnoses prior to intervention
  • Evaluate treatment effects and adjust treatments to achieve maximum benefit
  • Identify and document goals, anticipated progress, and re-evaluation plans in a timely manner
  • Review referrals and medical records to help determine required physical therapy treatment
  • Test and measure patient strength, motor function, sensory perception, functional capacity, or respiratory/circulatory efficiency and record data
  • Perform all responsibilities following safety and infection control procedures
  • Follow CMS, insurance, and AMA guidelines for skilled services, documentation, and billing
  • Adhere to the Physical Therapy Statutes established by the Missouri Board of Healing Arts

Shifts Available:
  • Flexible PRN weekend shifts

License/Certification required:
  • Licensed Physical Therapist in Missouri
  • Skilled nursing facility experience preferred
