Join our team at The Lutheran Home as a Certified Med Tech (CMT) and make a meaningful impact by providing compassionate, high-quality care on our night shift. As a CMT, you’ll primarily focus on administering medications, but may also serve in a CNA capacity as needed to support the overall well-being and comfort of our residents. This dual support role is rooted in our core values of service, excellence, dignity, fulfillment, grace, and stewardship. If you’re a CNA with your CMT certification looking for a rewarding position where you can use your skills in both areas while making a real difference, we’d love for you to be part of our community.

Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

Administer prescribed medications to residents and maintain related medical records under supervision of a nurse
Takes vital signs or observes patient to detect response to specified types of medications and prepares report or notifies designated personnel of unexpected reaction
Assist residents with ADL care as needed
Answer call lights and take appropriate action
Complete documentation accurately, timely, and following facility policies and procedures
Immediately report any abuse, neglect, and/or changes in resident’s conditions or incidents to the nurse
Communicates residents' requests or concerns in a timely manner
Encourage respect, communication, and teamwork
Participate in ongoing staff education and training

In this Full-time position, you will have a set 2-week schedule with every other weekend off, working 7 out of 14 calendar days. We are hiring for the night shift 6:45 pm - 7:15 pm.
