Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to: 

  • Work with families to set up long-term care insurance and file monthly claims.
  • Meet with and assist families with filling out Medicaid applications and annual reviews with continuous follow up.
  • Arrange for debt repayment or establish repayment schedules, based on the resident’s financial situation.
  • Create invoices according to company practices; submits invoices to customers, including residents and Medicaid.
  • Perform a daily verification with Medicaid regarding all new admissions and ensure all appropriate paperwork is submitted.
  • Prepare, post, verify, and record customer payments and transactions related to accounts receivable.

Education, Experience:
  • High school diploma or GED required. Degree in business or relevant field of study, preferred. 
  • Long term care experience, preferred.
  • Technical training or equivalent office experience, preferred.
  • Proficient in Word, Outlook, Excel and Point Click Care or comparable A/R software.
