The Lutheran Home is seeking a dependable Part-time Dining Services team member to support daily food service operations within our healthcare community. This position helps maintain a clean and organized kitchen and dining room while supporting a positive dining experience for residents. Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

Washing dishes, flatware, pots/pans by hand or dishwasher
Assisting with meal and beverage service to residents
Storing away cooking equipment, utensils, and dishes in designated areas
Setting up and clearing dining areas before and after meals
Cleaning and sanitizing tables, work surfaces, and equipment
Sorting and removing trash, placing it in the designated pickup area
Sweeping or mopping floors to maintain a clean and safe environment
Support daily dining needs to help ensure residents receive meals according to their food preferences

In this part-time position, the typical schedule includes weekday shifts from 3:30 pm – 6:30 pm, with rotating weekend shifts from 6:00 am – 2:30 pm.

Qualifications:

Ability to communicate respectfully with residents, staff, and visitors
Ability to perform physical tasks such as standing, bending, lifting and carrying
Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team
Dependable with strong work ethic and good attendance
