Dietary Aide - Weekend/Part Time, Retirement Community

The Lutheran Home is seeking a Part-time Dietary Aide to join our team in serving our vibrant retirement community. We’re looking for a dependable team player who reflects our core values of service, excellence, dignity, fulfillment, grace, and stewardship, and takes pride in creating a warm, welcoming dining experience for our residents.

Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

Wash dishes, flatware, and pots/pans by hand or dishwasher
Buss tables and assist with serving drinks during mealtimes
Roll silverware and help with dining room setup
Help maintain a clean, organized kitchen and dining room
Interact with residents, visitors, and staff in a friendly, helpful manner
Follow sanitary guidelines and perform daily cleaning tasks (assigned and unassigned)
Observe all infection control and safety procedures
Take appropriate care of food service equipment and operate it safely

In this part-time position, you will typically work Saturdays and Sundays from 6:00am to 2:30pm, either every weekend or every other weekend.

Skills and Qualifications:

Excellent customer service skills
High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred
Dietary experience preferred
