The Lutheran Home is hiring Certified Medication Technicians (CMTs) to join our resident-centered care team. Available Shifts:
  • Full-Time Day Shift: 6:45 a.m. – 7:15 p.m.
  • Part-Time Morning Shift (4-hour): Morning coverage hours vary
  • Part-Time Evening Shift (4-hour): 7:00 p.m. – 11:00 p.m.
  • Part-Time Night Shift: 6:45 p.m. – 7:15 a.m.
  • Part-Time Weekend Shifts Available: Weekend availability may include day, evening, or night shifts based on facility needs

Part-time shifts may be a great fit for individuals pursuing healthcare or nursing education who are seeking flexible hours and hands-on experience.

Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
  • Administer prescribed medications and maintain accurate medication records under supervision of a nurse
  • Takes vital signs or observe residents for responses to medications; report unexpected reactions to appropriate personnel
  • Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) as needed
  • Respond to call lights and take appropriate action
  • Complete documentation accurately, timely, and in accordance with facility policies and procedures
  • Immediately report any abuse, neglect, changes in resident condition, or incidents to the nurse
  • Communicates resident requests or concerns in a timely manner
  • Promote respect, communication, and teamwork
  • Participate in ongoing staff education and training

Requirements:
  • Current Missouri CMT certification
  • Current Missouri CNA certification
  • CPR certification preferred
  • Insulin administration certification preferred
  • Experience with Point Click Care preferred
