Certified Medication Technician (CMT) Part Time Evenings

The Lutheran Home is currently hiring a Certified Medication Technician (CMT) for a part-time, 4-hour evening shift – a great opportunity for compassionate professionals looking to make a real impact in just a few dedicated hours. In this vital role, you’ll be responsible for administering medications and providing essential support to ensure the comfort, safety, and well-being of our residents. You’ll join a team of healthcare professionals committed to upholding our core values: service, excellence, dignity, fulfillment, grace, and stewardship. If you’re already certified and passionate about making a difference, we’d love to welcome you to our healthcare community – this role also includes our night shift differential.

Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

Administers prescribed medications to residents and maintains related medical records under supervision of a nurse.
Takes vital signs or observes resident to detect responses to specified types of medications and prepares reports or notifies designated personnel of any unexpected reactions.
Assists residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) as needed.
Answers call lights and takes appropriate action.
Completes documentation accurately, timely, and in accordance with facility policies and procedures.
Reviews residents’ care plans and performs nursing care as outlined.

This is a part-time position typically working the hours of 7:00pm – 11:00pm.

License/Certification:
Current Missouri CMT certification
Current Missouri CNA certification
