Certified Medication Technician (CMT) Part Time Evenings
The Lutheran Home is currently hiring a Certified Medication Technician (CMT) for a part-time, 4-hour evening shift – a great opportunity for compassionate professionals looking to make a real impact in just a few dedicated hours. In this vital role, you’ll be responsible for administering medications and providing essential support to ensure the comfort, safety, and well-being of our residents. Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
- Administers prescribed medications to residents and maintains related medical records under supervision of a nurse.
- Takes vital signs or observes resident to detect responses to specified types of medications and prepares reports or notifies designated personnel of any unexpected reactions.
- Assists residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) as needed.
- Answers call lights and takes appropriate action.
- Completes documentation accurately, timely, and in accordance with facility policies and procedures.
- Reviews residents’ care plans and performs nursing care as outlined.
This is a part-time position typically working the hours of 7:00pm – 11:00pm.
License/Certification:
Current Missouri CMT certification
Current Missouri CNA certification
