The Lutheran Home is looking for a Part-Time Van Driver to join our dedicated team! If you have strong driving skills, a clean driving record, and a valid Class E driver’s license, we’d love to hear from you. Shuttle or passenger transport experience is a plus. In this important service role, you’ll be responsible for transporting residents, families, and staff safely and promptly, helping support the daily rhythm of our healthcare community. We are guided by the values of service, excellence, dignity, fulfillment, grace, and stewardship in everything that we do. Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

Safely transport residents to and from designated locations in a timely manner
Assist residents with boarding and exiting the vehicle as needed
Engage in courteous and respectful conversation with residents and their families
Keep track of fuel usage
Conduct daily safety inspection of vehicle, including checking the interior, exterior, brakes, headlamps, and taillights; report any mechanical malfunctions or other issues as required
Participate in the routine cleaning and servicing of the vehicle, including fueling; check oil and fluid levels; clean the windshield and headlamps; and maintain the vehicle in clean and safe operating condition

In this part-time position, you will enjoy a typical schedule working 3 days a week from 7:45am – 4:15pm.

Skills and Qualifications:

High school graduate or GED certificate, preferred
Strong driving skills and a clean record
Class E Driver License
CPR certified, or ability to become CPR certified within 60 days of employment
