The Lutheran Home is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to help create a clean and welcoming home for our residents. In this role, you’ll play an important part in supporting the daily living environment of those we serve – ensuring their spaces are cared for, and truly like home. Whether you’re starting your career or bringing prior experience, your attention to detail and commitment to quality will make a meaningful difference each day. Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

Maintain cleanliness in the resident’s room
Clean bathrooms daily and restocking toiletries
Empty trash cans and dispose of the waste in designated areas
Sweep, mop, and vacuum as needed
Clean common areas of the facility including hallways, living rooms and dining rooms
Clean the shower room
Pack and move personal items for room changes
Clean and change out beds as needed
Inspect areas for needed repairs or maintenance and report findings per policy
Follow proper procedures in the use of chemicals in the workplace and ensure they are secured when not in use
