Dining Services - Weekend Part-Time

The Lutheran Home is seeking a dependable Dining Services Dishwasher to join our team within our retirement community. Guided by our values of service, excellence, dignity, fulfillment, grace, and stewardship, this role helps support a safe and efficient dining operation by maintaining clean dishes, cookware, kitchen equipment, and work areas.

Available Schedule:

This position is scheduled every Saturday and Sunday: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
Approximately 16+ hours per week

Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

Wash and sanitize dishes, cookware, utensils, and kitchen equipment by hand or using a commercial dishwasher
Help keep the kitchen clean, organized, and stocked to support daily operations
Assist with general kitchen cleaning, including floors, trash removal, and work surfaces
Follow food safety and sanitation procedures
Working collaboratively with Dining Services team

Requirements:

High school diploma or GED preferred
Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the shift
Previous dishwashing or food service experience is helpful but not required
