Environmental Services (EVS) Manager
The Lutheran Home is looking for a skilled and motivated Environmental Services (EVS) Manager to guide our team in creating a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our residents and staff. In this key role, you will oversee the day-to-day operations, manage resources, and ensure compliance with infection control and safety protocols. Your leadership will directly contribute to foundation of care we provide, rooted in our values of service, excellence, dignity, fulfillment, grace, and stewardship. Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
- Oversee and manage all aspects of environmental services, including cleaning, disinfecting, and maintaining common areas, resident rooms, and care environments.
- Lead, train and supervise EVS staff to ensure high standards of cleanliness and operational efficiency.
- Ensure that infection protocols and safety regulations are adhered to.
- Develop and implement cleaning schedules, monitor performance, and make adjustments as needed to maintain optimal cleanliness.
- Manage inventory and supplies for the department, ensuring that cleaning materials and equipment are adequately stocked and properly maintained.
- Perform or assist with cleaning duties as necessary.
- Notify admitting personnel or social services of rooms ready for occupancy.
- Coordinate resident room moves inside the facility.
- Monitor and review timecards, requests off and approve hours for payroll.
