The Lutheran Home is looking for a skilled and motivated Environmental Services (EVS) Manager to guide our team in creating a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our residents and staff.  In this key role, you will oversee the day-to-day operations, manage resources, and ensure compliance with infection control and safety protocols. Responsibilities may include but are not limited to: 

  • Oversee and manage all aspects of environmental services, including cleaning, disinfecting, and maintaining common areas, resident rooms, and care environments.
  • Lead, train and supervise EVS staff to ensure high standards of cleanliness and operational efficiency.
  • Ensure that infection protocols and safety regulations are adhered to.
  • Develop and implement cleaning schedules, monitor performance, and make adjustments as needed to maintain optimal cleanliness.
  • Manage inventory and supplies for the department, ensuring that cleaning materials and equipment are adequately stocked and properly maintained.
  • Perform or assist with cleaning duties as necessary.
  • Notify admitting personnel or social services of rooms ready for occupancy.
  • Coordinate resident room moves inside the facility.
  • Monitor and review timecards, requests off and approve hours for payroll.
